FEATURES:
CONSTRUCTION
The machine frame is fabricated of heavy duty steel plate and ribbed to minimize vibration and deflection. All parts of the machine are easily assessable for maintenance and service.

TABLE AND CONVEYOR BELT
The table is supported by heavy-duty jackscrews. High quality conveyor belt is controlled with auto tracking assembly.

SANDING BELT
The tracking of the sanding belt is achieved by photoelectric cell.

CONTACT DRUM
Insulated with heavy-duty rubber. In addition to standard 85 (or 75) shore hardness drums, there are also models with hardness varying from 50 to 90 shore.

PRESSURE ROLLER
The spring-loaded hold down roller is mounted at the infeed and outfeed of the machine to insure positive feeding.

AUTOMATIC BRAKING
The air disc brakes will stop the machine if the emergency stop or limit switch is tripped. The machine will automatically stop is the power is turned off.

SAFETY FEATURES

	GC SERIES The contact drum sanding head is used principally for aggressive material removal from sizing with 36 to 50 grit to intermediate finishing with 120 to 150-grit belts.
	GP SERIES A single-belt machine that contains a flat platen behind the contact drum. The combination head sander can be operated in 3 modes: platen up, platen down, or platen level with the drum.
	GCP SERIES The combination contact drum/platen sanding head shares a single belt but has a flat platen behind the contact drum. It can be operated in three modes: drum only, platen only, drum and platen in tandem.

AUTOMATIC BELT TRACKING An air cylinder is fitted under the conveyor table that automatically controls the conveyor belt, keeping it on track at all times.	CENTRALIZED CONTROL PANEL All operation controls are grouped for easy operation. An ammeter is provided on the control panel to indicate percentage of full motor load. The optional digital indicator for thickness setting is more convenience to operated.	DISC BRAKING MECHANISM Provides a positive and instant stop to the machine in the event of belt mistracking or breakage, or if the body activated emergency stop bar is activated.
SENSITIVE BELT CONTROL Photoelectric cell controls sanding belt oscillations. Machine automatically stops in cast of belt breakage or insufficient air pressure. Cylinder speed regulation is convenient.	VARIABLE SPEED FEED RATE The conveyor feed speed is infinitely adjustable by turning a speed selector knob. This feature is suited for sanding various types of wood material.	BODY ACTIVATED EMERGENCY STOP BAR There is a bar placed in the position where the operator normally stands for fast and convenient shut off of all operations if an emergency should occur.
